World Book Day

This post includes some affiliate links, which means I will get a little kickback from Amazon if you purchase books through these links!

Did you know Monday is World Book Day? To celebrate, Amazon is giving away 9 Kindle book downloads from around the world…FOR FREE! Click here for info and to download. Thanks to my friend Amy for telling me about this!

I thought it might be fun to share some of our favorite books as of late!

Braun selects Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site and Little Blue Truck Leads the Way by Schertle Alice (2009-10-19) Hardcover.

Harper votes for Sheep in a Jeep (board book).  She also loves anything Bernstein Bears, like Big Book of the Berenstain Bears.

Ty is an audio book listener and enjoyed Killing Kennedy: The End of Camelot by Bill O’Reilly.

As for me, you know I have to mention Girl, Wash Your Face: Stop Believing the Lies About Who You Are so You Can Become Who You Were Meant to Be by Rachel Hollis…which is now officially a NYT Best Seller!

I am currently reading (and adoring) Everybody, Always: Becoming Love in a World Full of Setbacks and Difficult People by Bob Goff.

I also really loved  Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis by JD Vance and  Love That Boy: What Two Presidents, Eight Road Trips, and My Son Taught Me About a Parent’s Expectations by Steve Fournier.

And, lastly, let me remind you about the book my Uncle Buddy wrote about his tour in Vietnam. Helping with this project is one of the things I am most proud of in my life, and proceeds from the book go to help provide scholarships to First Cav soldiers’ children and grandchildren and to local charities helping homeless veterans. Get your copy of All I Ever Wanted To Be Was a Soldier today from me or on Amazon!

What are some of your recent favs??
